We have yoga by the sea classes at venues along the coast from Sandsend to Filey as well as indoor classes in Whitby and Scarborough. Scroll down for maps and information for each of our yoga venues.
Cayton Bay yoga by the sea
Cayton Bay yoga by the sea classes take place early Tuesday morning (07:15-08:00) from April to September. We meet on the beach below the Salty Dog and lifeguard hut on Cayton Bay, if the tide is too high we relocate to the concrete plinth just above the beach. Free parking is available on the roadside of Old Filey Road.

Filey yoga by the sea
Filey yoga by the sea classes take place on Wednesday mornings (07:15-08:00) from March to October. When the tide is low enough, we meet on the beach just in front of the slipway that slopes down from the bottom of Cargate Hill. If you have the Waht3words App we will be set up close to vows.perfected.refutes
When the tide is too high to be on the beach our Filey yoga by the sea class takes place on the grassy section of the promenade just in front of the outdoor gym (What3words - backdrop.addicted.completed). Free parking is available on the roadside of Beach Road on Filey seafront (What3words - vows.perfected.refutes).
Sandsend yoga by the sea & SUP yoga
Yoga by the sea and SUP yoga classes in Sandsend take place on Thursday mornings during the summer months. We meet on the beach just below the Sandside cafe, just south of the lifeguard hut (What3 words - pine.fake.blip). Parking is available on Sandsend Road free before 9am (What3words - dolly.horn.segregate).
Scarborough yoga by the sea
Our Scarborough yoga by the sea classes take place on the star disk, year round on Sunday mornings (09-30-10:15) asa well as Monday evenings (18:00-18:45) and Friday mornings (07:15-08:00) from April to October. The star disk is located on the site of the old open air swimming pool, to the south of Scarborough Spa on Scarborough's South Bay (What3words - driver.robot.clown).
Paid parking is available on the Spa approach road, underground car park or Spa car park, you then walk along the promenade to the south until you reach the star disk. Alternatively free parking is available on Esplanade road, aim to park near the Shuttleworth clock tower and then walk down through South Cliff gardens. Allow 10-15 minutes to walk in from either parking location.
Scarborough Buddhist Centre (beginner's courses, vinyasa flow & yin yoga)
Scarborough indoor yoga classes take place in the yoga studio of the Scarborough Buddhist Centre, located in Londesborough Lodge on The Crescent, YO11 2PW (What3words - useful.brick.solve). Enter through the big red door (if it's locked just press the yoga studio buzzer to be let in) then head left and downstairs to find the studio.
Whitby Flowergate Hall (vinyasa flow yoga)
Whitby indoor yoga classes take place in Flowergate Hall (what3words - wicket.broke.stag), the hall is located below the united reform church on Flowergate. Head down the alleyway between 'Bitz n Pizzas' and the church and the entrance to the hall is on your right just before the alley becomes private access. Once inside the building head down the first flight of stairs to your left (with stair lift), at the bottom of the stairs walk straight ahead and then turn right to find the double doors to the hall space in front of you.
Whitby yoga by the sea
Whitby yoga by the sea classes take place on Tuesday evenings (17:30-18:15) from May-September. If the tide is high our Whitby yoga by the sea classes are held on the grassy crescent by the promenade just to the north of the last beach huts as you walk towards Sandsend (What3words - meaning.homeward.when).
When the tide is low enough we hold yoga by the sea on Whitby beach just below the beach management centre (What3words - collect.work.juggled).
