Yoga & Wild Swimming Cayton Bay

Join us for a relaxing morning of yoga and sea swimming, we'll begin with a one hour yoga flow to prepare your body for getting in the North Sea. After yoga we'll have a talk on sea safety, discussing tides, currents, waves, cold water shock and how to choose the best times to swim in the sea. We'll then take a dip in the ocean enjoying the beautiful surroundings  of Cayton Bay.  ​ This session is limited to 6 participants, Please bring a yoga mat (or towel) along with your preferred outfit for swimming whether it be swimming costume or wetsuit. The sea temperature will be around 12C. A flask with hot drink is also a good idea for warming up afterwards! Park on Osgodby Hill (the old Filey Road, YO11 3NH) and walk down through the woods by the National Trust sign for Cayton Bay. The tide will be too far in to get along from the main end of Cayton Bay beach. Allow 10-15 minutes to get down through the woods and wear trainers or walking shoes as the path can be slippery in places especially if there has been recent rain.
